Prayer Leads To Abundance

Laveda Y. Odom is a wife and mother of two sons, Roderrick L. Roberts and Tyler K. Odom. She was born in a rural town in Estill, S.C. Her love for inspirational books by Joyce Meyers, especially "Battlefield of the Mind," has led her to embrace Christ and His Word. Laveda loves to read, listen to gospel music, and make special memories with her family. This journal was inspired by her, because of the various trials she experienced and the healing through prayer. It was time to change. Take your life to the next level by inviting Jesus Christ into your life. Prayer truly is the key to a fulfilling life. Having a life with Christ will change your life. You will no longer be comfortable with your old sinful ways, and you'll want to turn from them and seek God's will for your life. The Bible says, "Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do" (1 Peter 1:15). Yes, life throws you curveballs. Sometimes your heart feels so heavy that you just want to curl up like a baby. Hold on because there's an anointing over your life that will cast away all your pain and suffering. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures (James 4:3).


I pray this prayer journal will bless others and provide the essentials of prayer. My life is by no means perfect. Transparency, discernment, prayer, and faith as small as a mustard seed are what form your armor against the wiles on Earth. This journal is dedicated to my mom and my sons, Roderrick Roberts and Tyler Odom.
